Stephen McLaughlin extends contract
mansfieldtown.net, Fri 30 April 2021 We are delighted to announce that versatile left-back Stephen McLaughlin has extended his contract at One Call Stadium until the summer of 2022. The 30-year-old has made 38 appearances for the Stags since signing in September of last year, impressing in numerous positions. It follows news that defender James Perch will also be at the club for another year. His versatility is important for us; he’s slotted in well at left-back, midfield or in a wide role. “He’s a valuable member of our squad and is a good, experienced professional.” ------------------------ Clough told BBC Radio Nottm: "He's our first choice left back at the moment and he may well start as that next season.
