Michael Merriman - (in response to question about getting pitch ready for next season) it’s already sorted we had a Meeting with the contractor yesterday, it needs the top coming off 100 tons of fibresand going in and turning over to get air back into it so the water can get through to the drainage, it’s like concrete after the top inch - We was having all this done last summer then obviously the world went tits up - it has to be done every year not to this extent but you do have to clean it out - they (the training pitches) are all struggling lad, I know you are just looking at options but they are raspberried as well |
