My MOM today. He covered for KP’s foibles well.

I thought KP and Preston were very good today, White was the shaky one with an few mistakes first half but made up for it with that goal line clearance

Preston and Pearce were awesome. It is better than Bennett and Pearce, so for me DF has done well with it.

Very calm assured display. Swept up well and heads it miles. Top signing and only 23.

KP didn't put a foot wrong for me. Thought White had a few dodgy moments first half but more than made up for it with the goal line block second half. Preston looked excellent though.

Seen him twice now and he looks top notch. Swindon have lost a good un there, to our benefit. Compliments the chief perfectly.

Preston is a modern day Colin Todd! His balance is impeccable. The best centre back that I can remember seeing at Stags. Even better than Taft!

Early days. I can remember Kevan Hirst scoring a wonder goal just after signing for us and thinking what a good signing he was.

All the new signings did well on their debut, of that there is no doubt.

Let's give them a dozen games to see if they continue to perform at that level.

How old are you, best centre back after one game?

Take it you never saw Saxby, McClelland, Foster, Calderwood, Coleman and many others?

Looks the part and seems to play the part of a top defender in all ways.

I'm with you on this Andy. If they churn out quality game after game then fine. It was the first game and they did the biz, let's hope they match that performance at Yeovil after the dreaded overnighter.

It was a good performance by everyone but the amount of people getting carried away is ridiculous.

One game at a time people, it’s going to take more than a 3-0 win to decide if a player is a good signing.

Fair point Conker and I think yes wait and see how we perform later in the middle of winter on a cold wet night away somewhere far away when a few injuries/suspensions have cut in but at least its a bright start rather than a negative one and I think that was needed to stem early worries about Flipflop's ability and signings etc.
