Never been any problems between Danny and DF, maybe everyone will get off the managers back and let him manage

I think the fair minded amongst us are coming to the view that the stories of DF and DR not getting on are nonesense, put forward by the anti-DF brigade. A great interview, honest, down to earth and totally different to his predecessor and his new employers.

Good on DF for putting record straight and doing it professionally and courteously (unlike other party)

The Flip-flop post match interviews have been excellent regarding Angol and particularly Rose. The reputation of him and the Radford's has been questioned by the gruesome threesome from Peterborough, but it's clear that our owners and management have more class under their toenails than the triage of f*ckwittery.

Erm, no Belly I like it, it's my nickname for him, just like Belly is yours.

Folks shouldn't get offended by something that's not meant to be derogatory. So I'll continue to call him Flip-flop I reckon.

And cap doffed to the guy at the match today with the t-shirt with a picture of a couple of amber and blue flip-flops on it. Quality.

I noticed a flag in the QLE that said ‘flip flop barmy army’ fair play, the people suggesting it’s wrong to call him that are the same people who only started the Steve Evans fat jokes after he sold us out!

I've got no problem with his nickname. It's not done to undermine or insult, on my part anyway. Its a bit silly but harmless.

He sounded very genuine when talking about Rose. The whole situation is a bit of a mess and one we could do without dragging on. Ship both out, get another wing back type in as cover and another striker, ideally a big man who can jump or head and we're all set.

From how we spoke it felt to me like he'd prefer both to stay and crack on with what he's planned. I hope he's got a few names in mind because that surely ain't gonna happen now.

Hmmm. I tend to associate flip flop nickname as an insult only started by certain people who were trying to point out the Flitcroft had infact flopped our season.

It’s not a nickname I’d like to be called specially with what it’s associated it.

I'm offended by your continued use of the word triage.

It's wrong.

Google it and stop being thick.
i would prefer not to.

Oh dear, the purposeful use of it is probably several fathoms beneath your legendary intellect. Us thickos should probably have our own forum to stop embarrassing ourselves.

Because we still play quite direct... Davis seems very good as a hold up player when the ball is to feet or chest but he doesn't seem all the good in the air, certainly not Rheadesque.

If we got another big man we'd have 2 of those, Walker and a number of other players who could support a big man, ie CJ, Khan, the young lad etc.

Rose was the second forward capable of being the target man...

Also a wing back as I feel we're light there. Only Mal CJ and White and White is one of only four CB for 3 slots. If Mal or CJ got injured and White moved wide we'd be down to the young lad as our only back up defender.
