one a different note the Danny rose chants today they were a bit embarrassing, if his evaluation isn't met then he will remain a stags player and needs to be professional about it[/quote]

Danny hasn’t done himself any favours actually handing in a transfer request. If the club think any offer is acceptable then he can then speak personal terms until then Mansfield are paying his wages and he could and should have dealt with it better... he has probably been advised poorly

I'd be disappointed to see Angol leave. I'd like to see him turn down the move, pull his socks up and fight for a shirt.

We can't afford to lose both of these lads without recruiting one striker. Danny will leave, I'm sure of that. A couple of striker injuries during the season would have us down to the bones.

Not being there today what where the chants? The usual chant or has it been worded differently?

you do realise that mansfield is one of the most depressing places to live in the country dont you?

You've obviously never been to Grimsby (or Cleethorpe actually). They've still got white dog raspberry the place is that old and they only took the gas street lights out two years ago.

I'm ok with both going. But we need a very good replacement. If we don't have one lined up then we're going to be very short of bodies up top.

If they go, they go.

Angol has remained professional , same cannot be said for Danny.

If only one goes, I hope it's Rose.

im sure that an equally if not more capable striker can be got in on loan from a prem or championship club to play as a back-up striker.

it's a bit thin on the ground and not ideal as id have had either as a back-up but you cant turn down money for dross.
i would prefer not to.

What about Amond or Matt from Newport as a replacement
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

I'd take amond, Jamile matt has been average for a while now but wouldn't be a bad backup I guess but he's only just joined Newport I believe

Id take that gamble myself.

I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't spend any incoming zoinks on players - perhaps Radders needs to balance the books.

It might be more sensible to assume any possible incoming player would be a young loanee - someone like Bennett from Derby, perhaps.

I think if both go JR will allow DF to sign a striker.

Can't see Derby letting Bennett go.

I think DF will go after Tom Pope.
