I'm off to Portugal next week and intend buying the Newport game on iFollow. Do I need to take a laptop as I think someone said you can't watch it on Android?

Have a look at this Rob. It seems to cover the "international" element of your need next week...

Link to Android app...

I used the equivalent app for my iPad last September and it worked fine (strong signal required to overcome buffering) :D

Rob, unfortunately you cannot simply watch matches when you go out of the UK, if you are a UK resident. You have to register with an address that it outside the UK, then you can watch matches by purchasing a one-off match pass once your computer recognises the IP address as being outside the UK.

You can of course to listen to commentary wherever you are.

We are renting a villa with its own wifi, can I use that address? I'll miss the Newport and Yeovil games as we are away for 10 days.

Thanks SoS, I do have the android app but the other link was very useful

providing your address is outside the UK, and your computer is outside the UK, then you can do it. You will of course need wifi fast enough to stream video.

If your using an iPad etc download an app called Windscribe, also download the ifollow app, log in through Windscribe and change your destination to Portugal then just purchase a match pass through ifollow. Works in UK and abroad! :D

I would appreciate some help on iFollow.
I live overseas and was looking to buy a season pass which the iFollow site quotes as £110.
It then leads you to your clubs site where a season pass is quoted at £45 but this does not include live HD pictures.
It also says that a £10 Match Pass is not available for this game.

Am I looking in the wrong place??

Thanks in advance

If you go on the clubs site it should be showing match centre now ,click on more at the top of the screen when you see i follow click on it ,it should then in the top corner say sign in or register ,after that you should get a message at the bottom of the white square saying create new account click there and it should show a seasons pass for 130 euros ,hope this helps ,its definetely worth every cent

If you are in Dublin, then that does not account as overseas I'm afraid.
Overseas is outside UK and Ireland.

Thanks for that info guys.
A bit surprised that the Republic of Ireland does not qualify as overseas. Maybe someone from iFollow needs a lesson in geography and/or politics

More likely that Ireland is the only other country that any TV station has bothered to pick up the EFL rights

I found the audio commentary distorted; Martin was fine but Dean and background crowd noise was noticeably distorted for me.
