Credit where it's due.....Mez and his staff have done a brilliant job . Also to the Radford's for funding this in the first place.

Best in the league that, could really give us the edge. Will hopefully encourage the lads to keep it on the ground too :coys:

Old Ram Stag will still spend a good deal of next season complaining that the ball was out or in, irrespective of how straight the lines are!!!

What are the dimensions of the pitch going to be this season? Same as last season, wider, narrower, longer or shorter?

I see Neil Aspin at Port Vale has been experimenting with a narrower pitch at Vale Park before the date on which they have to provide the pitch dimensions to the EFL.

Great effort keeping it that green with this weather and the hosepipe ban.
These are my opinions , if you don't like them I have others...

If I was his chairman I'd tell him to give his head a shake and get on with practising scoring goals.

For god's sake, as if a couple of feet here or there are going to make a difference.
i would prefer not to.

I don't see what's wrong with this, we want the pitch to be as perfect as possible. It can certainly give an edge in the winter months when we're at home.

Theres nothing wrong with spending time getting the size of the pitch correct , if we can get it to suit our style of play then I'm all for it.

Not sure any hosepipe ban would apply to a professional sports surface

Vale Park is one of the widest pitches in League 2. 114 yards x 77 yards according to the website below. Neil Aspin might have signed someone with a long throw

Field Mill appears to be one of the longest pitches at 115 yards x 70 yards.

EFL Rules say pitches have to be 110-120 yards long x 70-80 yards wide. (100-110 meteres x 64-75 metres)

http://www.footballgroundguide.com/leag ... -town.html

Lee Johnson also narrowed the pitch at Ashton Gate last season.
