Couple of points.

I guess our Martin (Shaw) can only sign things off with ‘take care’ ironically now?

Some saying appointing their Martin (Allen) a great signing, from what I’ve seen he usually provides one extreme of success or failure and little in between. Looking at his signings I sadly think they’ll do ok in the pit of misery but undecided on how well.

Take care

Reminds me of last season when SE was signing players for us. Loads of hype. I hope they end up falling short like we did.

Mansfield fans,

Haven't we suffered enough, we couldn't beat you last year and got relegated aswell so how about leaving it now?

Thanks,

Martin

You'd think Chesterfield would have had enough of vans, what with playing in the Non League Vanarama National (well, mainly Southern) League.

Now, I've noticed their stands are sponsored by a Van Yard in Arkwright Town
Yep, that's right it's the VanYard West Stand.

How tin pot can this club become.?

500 season tickets sold in the first 5 days which is
rather impressive given the circumstances

£420 for an adult season ticket in the Vanyard Stand, watching non-league football, really? They're 'aving a giraffe! In fact looking at their season ticket prices makes you wonder if they realise they've been relegated. Makes our £350 adult season ticket look fairly reasonable by comparison.

Yeah, we are very expensive

What with the prices and us being non league, it’s no surprise you’ll sell far more than us this season

Oh so being non-league is an excuse now? I don't remember Spireites thinking that way when they mocked our attendances down there.

I think it's having Flannel and Allen that's making all the difference.
