Evans can have Rose for the right money.

Apparently he wants to play for us, and that's half the battle.

He'll be the best striker to pull on a Stags shirt next season watch those goals fly in

Wish Miller could be the missing goal poacher, but where is the evidence that it could happen?

There isn't any, either at Mansfield, Luton or Peterborough, just non-league.

Let him go elsewhere, our past gambles have never come off, Palmer was a failed gamble goals wise, Taft, Mirfin and Jones, remember him, were failed gambles fitness wise.

Just get a recognised striker in, Luton will be ringing the changes, Akindi wont want non-league and Stevenage have a guy who knows where the net is.

We would be stupid to let Miller go anywhere else (no doubt L2) in the right frame of mind he'll score 20 easily...it's so obvious, he's got the aggression and will to score that I haven't seen at field mill for a long time..

Flitcroft never gave Miller a chance whilst he was fit so what makes anyone think he’s going to go and pay for him. I’d rather us do absolutely zero business with that scummy football club and the prat in charge.

Evans recruits Ricky for us for what was supposed to be a promotion push for league 1. Then he takes over at his parent club and releases him the first chance he gets. The whole Evans to Posh saga smells more rotten by the minute...

Or could it just mean that he viewed him as suitable for a league 2 promotion push but not a league 1 one?

I think it will depend on Miller's circumstance. If he can fit into DF's summer fitness regime (which sounds tough), then I think he will be given a chance. If he is not available when the new training starts in the summer then I can't see him being signed.

He could be a good addition for our non league neighbours.

Peterbro have players under contract they don't want. We have players under contract they possibly want from us. We hold all the cards. Screw lardy for as much wedge as possible. No swaps or Miller as a make weight for Macca transfer fee.

Macca's proven at League level, Miller isn't.

I would like to see us give Ricky Miller a chance but I think David Flitcroft would find him........

If Miller has been released we don't need to either pay a fee or ask Peterboroughs permission to sign him. Released players are free agents surely.

Not released. On transfer list. Presumably got a year contract left that Boro wont pay up. Can train with kids and take his wage, nowt Boro can do about it if he doesn't agree to transfer. If we take him on a free and he forfeits his years wage for 2 years with us. Suits all.

Just get Hemmings and one other proven goalscorer in, forget Miller.

He has two more years left on his Posh contract and we were one of a new clubs chasing him in the window.

If he can sort out his off-field issues, I'd give him a year with a year's option without question.

We would be crazy not to sign him, you could see he was the missing piece of the strike force we were lacking when he got fit...

He's the sort of player other teams fear due to his aggression and finishing and guaranteed to haunt us if we let him go somewhere else...County need a goalscorer as well, I'd hate it if he went there and bagged loads

And you have got this opinion on him having a one decent game ?

A huge gamble for me . He may have not been tge flavour of the month at Peterborough but even so , there is no excuse for a player not keeping fit . We were crying out for a goal scorer and Flitcroft still didn't play him . They tells it's own story . If we can get him on free , his wages aren't too high , he gets and keeps fit and he sort his issues out then maybe he's worth a punt
But it's a big If .

Tell me someone before I go mad.

Why would it be crazy to not sign Miller, I think the opposite is true?

He would cost a transfer fee, good wages and is unproven, crazy indeed TO sign him.

These recent bucketloads of chances we've been missing, would have been put away by Miller had he been on the end of them in my opinion.
