Suttonian wrote:This really is an awful service. Purchased the Colchester game today from USA but no video or audio available, just get redirected to the purchase screen only to be told I've already purchased the game then back to square one. Clicked on the chat balloon to be told to clear my browser cache (already clears automatically when I close the browser, third party cookies were allowed and video too) then the chat was ended immediately by the agent.

Back on the chat balloon to be told to email ifollow@efl.com followed by 'chat session disconnected'. Pig ignorant customer service & feels like a complete waste of money.

If you are a UK resident, then you will not be able to access video (or even audio at present) when you travel outside UK, as explained by this post, a few posts up from yours:
viewtopic.php?p=670811#p670811

If you are a non-UK resident, then you should have been able to watch the video of the game live. Though I personally cannot vouch for the quality of the video. Some have posted that it is fine, others that they get buffering.

Last game I watched was Cambridge and as long as I didn't try watching on the highest definition the buffering was non-existent and the stream was watchable. This week ifollow showed a total lack of interest when I encountered problems but they still took my $7 and refused to refund it. Cancelled the subscription as the service just isn't worth the price imo, I'll just watch your youtube vids on sundays

Are the interviews Audio only now? Previously there used to be a video of the interview.

the camera is in for repair. Post match, I filmed the interviews at Colchester and at home to Notts County on my phone.

There was video on the midweek interview on Monday, I'm not sure where the camera came from.

edit - the interview with Atkinson today was on video, again not sure where the camera came from.

If I follow your link I can find the link to the whole match. However, if I go through the normal log in (when watching interviews etc.) I can't find it.

To find the replay of the full 90 minutes for any game this season, go Matches, then Results, then to the Match Centre for the particular game you want, then click on "Watch Now"

see also viewtopic.php?p=670797#p670797

Brinner wrote:Also, how do I get match commentary via ifollow?

On the day of the game, the Match Centre option will be on the mansfieldtown.net home page. 30 minutes before kick off, a button for "Listen here" will appear and you click on that.

So basically it is the Match Centre you want for both of the above.

Thought I saw something not long back saying mid week games to be made available to those in the UK?

no it isn't. Commentary only, with the full game available to watch on Wednesday.

midweek games available from 2019/20 season, see
viewtopic.php?p=669262#p669262

I believe there is a possibility that Checkatrade trophy knockout stage games might be available to watch this season, but I will only believe it when EFL confirms that categorically.

Confirmed that Checkatrade Trophy games will be available to watch live for iFollow subscribers in UK. So, starting with the Blackpool away game.

Also available for non subscribers for £5 per game

Does anyone else keep getting an issue of the commentary just stopping every minute and then having to click play or listen live again for it to restart? Listening through my phone and it really is so annoying, every minute isn't even an exaggeration!

sorry to hear that; that shouldn't be happening obviously. Are you using the app? Feedback I've been hearing is that the app works really well. I can suggest the obvious things like re-installing the app, making sure the wifi is consistent, making sure you're not short on memory, etc. I don't know enough about smartphones to know what else to suggest.

Thanks for the reply Martin. I am using the app and all the other content such as the highlights and interviews work fine. I've tried using both my mobile data and Wi-Fi during live commentary and the performance is the same on both. Not sure if I've tried re-installing in the past but I'll give it a go just incase I haven't. If by memory you are referring to storage I have 3.5GB available which I would assume is plenty for a live stream? Hopefully a simple re-install may be the solution.
