I hadn't realised how many good chances we missed in the first half, it could easily have been 7-1. During the game I didn't think it was a free kick for their goal, I tough Macca got their first, but he didn't. However, the ref let them take it about 3-4m forwards and 1-2m infield from where the foul took place, I doubt they'd have scored it otherwise.

Well done Kane Hemmings as well, very unlucky not to get 2 goals yesterday and great effort to get the header in for the important 2nd goal.

Lol he only just made it back in time for the third. You would think they would know the script when Notts visit the One Call

When the 2nd and 3rd goals go in and the celebrations start, look at the county fans in the very very bottom right hand corner of the Quarry Lane

I noticed that too. They sat motionless through all three Stags goals. Showed even less emotion than Natalie Jackson who was standing nearby. :D

Hemmings reaction for our second goal says a lot. He desperately wanted that goal to the point where he almost forgot to celebrate with Rose

Fair play to him. Good to see a bit of passion.

no pitchside match action in the BBC East Midlands feature, as predicted, because they don't have the rights.

Nevertheless a good feature.

You can watch on BBC iPlayer, go to BBC one live, make sure your region is East Midlands, and scroll back to 6.50pm

Great videos - but they were sadly lacking your commentary Martin .... It would have made it so much more enjoyable to have heard your celebrations accompanying those goals!

kind of you to say. Son of Sherwood has very kindly offered to record commentaries as a backup for me in future, so if my recording fails due to iffy in-ground wifi, we'll still have it.

Hopefully normal service resumed at Colchester.
