Comments post game yesterday.

Postby london amber stag » Sun Oct 01, 2017 1:49 pm

There was a bloke after the game yesterday who was absolutely slating the players and Evans. We had just emphatically beaten the top team and still nothing is good enough for this particular individual. Do us all a favour and find another hobby on Saturday. I am sick to death of listening to these individuals spout absolute rubbish. There are quite a few of these emerging from the woodwork this season on the various forums and being deliberately vocal in their displeasure to gauge a reaction. Their comments are expected after a heavy loss but nonsensical after such a good victory yesterday.

You wanted a response after Tuesday night and you got one with bells on.
I along with many others had a great day yesterday but you obviously are a glass totally empty type of person so what is the point in you wasting your money. It is amazing how the Stags raised their game yesterday after the first goal, positivity works wonders!

Some folk are clueless. I've sat near people who have said Byrom isn't a footballer, not good enough for us. Just shows you how much they know.

Then again most players were wrote off as rubbish on here after the crewe game

Most of these terrace tacticians probably don't believe the bull they spout, but do it hoping nearby fans liken them to the footballing equivalent of Kasparov. Can you imagine the volume of greenhouse gases produced if they actually started using their brains?

Don't know the guys name, but he is a regular Stags fan with a stick who people always shout 'sit down' at, spent all the first half saying Danny Rose was weak and not good enough. I told him he wasn't weak, he just dived a lot trying to get free kicks.

He was very quiet in the second half

Slightly off topic but speaking of comments after the game, we just managed to get 3 minute on East Midlands Today!

Not a bad bit of coverage but I can't get over the Stags fan who said 'for us, this is like our cup final really'. Had me shouting at the TV - embarrassing comment to make just makes us look small.

Some stags fans have that sort of mentality unfortunately.

There's a good percentage who still believe the earth is flat !
