There is a simple solution to the perceived way in which Darren referees. It is to play proper football on the floor, make your passes accurate, don't dive in, keep your mouth shut and for Mr. Evans to manage and tactically coach the side.

Though I haven't seen much of that this season. Hope we do so on Saturday for if not the only curse to be lifted will be that of County not beating us.

I'm betting on at least 6 yellows and 1 red!

With him being from lincoln I'm not sure it's the right match allocation....given history of poor ref performances and complaints from stags it's a recipe for disaster imo

I'd be putting a complaint in prior to the game

He's not from Lincoln, he lives there now but is from the North East.

He's done a lot of big games at this level and this will be why the FA have appointed him to this game. He has had some shockers when refereeing us, though of course we generally see the games through one not very neutral eye! He had a decent game on TV last week so lets hope that Daz turns up, not the one we have seen on occasions before at the Mill :D

Still, it does an another element to the game!

OMG! I will never forget that game 10 years ago v MK Dons he officiated! Very poor !
It's just made this game even harder for us , but we all stick together in adversity!

If Svante does not mention MK Dons on this thread the world will end.

I'll never forget that night against MK Dons.

Drysdale reffed us a year or so ago though and made a good job from what I remember, let's hope for more of the same.

Are we using Darren Drysdale being the referee as justification for 'getting our excuses in early'??

I think we have more problems playing as a 'promotion winning side' at the moment than the man who is blowing the whistle.

It says he works at RAF Waddington, perhaps someone could put him onboard a drone bound for Syria? :)

One of the recent games was the 1-0 home win over Tranmere the other season when I thought he wasn't too bad for us.
We might win against Accrington next time.

Of all the refs available he would be the last I would want. The only ref I have come across who is so far up himself he drives into ground driving huge Audi with a personal number plate. I still cringe thinking about his appalling performance in the Plastic Dons match. How this guy remains on the league list is a total mystery. A complete tool. Could easily end nine a side on Saturday.
