5 goals in his last 82 appearances.

If we signed him, especially for the kind of money that they claim is being given to him, this board would be in absolute meltdown.

On paper a good signing for this league, on the pitch however is a different thing altogether. his goal scoring record isn't good, not now anyway

Sky Sports are reporting the deal as being "The biggest pay deal any player has had in Chesterfield's history"

Some posters on Bob's Board have heard rumblings of a £50k signing on fee as well as big wages.

Another poster on there is claiming that Evans wanted him but they outbid us.

If any of that is true, we've got away with shooting ourselves in the foot big time.

Imagine if the player we're all holding out for as our big marquee, 20 goal a season striker, had a scoring record worse than a vast majority of centre halves up and down the country?

They're more than welcome to him in my opinion.

*Disclaimer....
It probably means he'll score past us now though. Calvin Andrew was cack and he managed that feat against them.

He couldn't hit a barn door at Forest.
Henderson was a level above and what did he do here?

According to them lot, there is a thread about SE being on 15k a week. This is unlikely to be true. 780k per year pre tax.

Doubt it.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

I think it would be more like £5-8k, but I'm guessing. £15k is surely way too high.

Carolyn, in her Independent interview, said that the club broke even last year and is looking to make a profit this year. So whatever he is being paid, it is within our means - unless he's being paid via another channel.

If the club make a profit it will be a fantastic achievement, especially with the improvements made both on and off the field.

No takers.

We know how hard it is to try and sell a football club following dodgy goings on.

Maybe waiting for a slice of Clucas in his drink.
