I'm sure the BBC have worded it wrong as it should've said

Ched Evans is willing to pay Sheffield Utd £500,000 to get him out of the sheepdip.

I think some of their fans think they willl get the money to spend next season, that money is going straight into the owners pocket or to cover spiralling debts can't stop laughing when reading their forum

At up, someone has mentioned a financial lifeline and back comes the sheep botherer.

I have no confidence with this clown in charge. Caldwell must have got lucky last season with Wigan as he's shown zero aptitude for the job of a football manager.

I do want the playoffs and promotion as does every stags fan I would think, but if we fall short then so be it lets smash it next year, chesterfield have been our cocky gloating neighbours for a long time but things are changing and at the moment they have a set up that will only take them further down the league's, so double celebration next year to COYS

Well once again Caldwell says one thing no players will be sold !! The board sells out the only asset to the first bidder with cash in his pocket.

As for the money going towards bringing in new players it's just for covering very few season ticket sales under 400 up to last Friday closing of business then there's the 6 weeks paying wages bills ground rent before the new season starts.

500k isn't going to go far to be honest I'm hoping we don't play them next season I rather swap places as in League divisions than the possibility of taking 6 points off them we could still point an laugh when/if Dover come up n finish in 23rd place one place above the sheep warriors next season.

Were not good enough to go up imo. But we are good enough to get 6 points off them next year on our way up.

Regarding Ched Evans, not played for weeks and the fans were told he was injured (to be fair they didn't buy that) Think the owner wrapped him up for Christmas with a label saying 'don't open til April' on it for SUFC to buy him

Spirits have returned all but 500 tickets for their last game of the season against the Blades.
Blades are ecstatic as they have shuffled the away fans seating and sold the returned tickets.
So who will chant nice things about Ched first?

Evans probably won't play in the final game against united if they are seriously going to sign him.

The way things are going it could be that Cheaterfield could fold in the close season and we never see them again. Any AFC resurrection would start well down the pyramid due to conference rules.

I would actually like to see them survive as a club so we can take 6 points next year, then can finish bottom and then go bust and float off into oblivion.

There's something running down my leg.......... I hope it's sweat.
