Now they've had to cancel their "player of the year" awards evening, due to lack of interest :hysteria: :hysteria: :hysteria:

It would be a shame for them not to have their awards evening, and it would be really childish if someone were to arrange for a joint player of the year trophy, won by all of their players combined, to be sent to Chesterfield from their friends in Mansfield. Let me know if you'd also think it very childish to mark their relegation.

I'd be willing to donate £10 to fund some sort of childish trophy and for it to be delivered their on behalf of all of us here at the mill

I'd pay for it to be engraved "One Keith Haslam".

There should be some mention on the trophy of this being such a special year for them too - their 150th anniversary season! Lol

For anyone who thinks Stagsnet is negative... the talk on Bob's Board is already whether they'll get relegated again next season

I love how CFC give their fans (the slightly deluded ones) a slight glimmer of hope every so often with a half decent result & then take a bashing in the next game!

Get those banners hung on the bridges in the A617 folks, they're as good as down!

9 points behind Bury and 3 games left with a far inferior gd (-17). They're doomed I tell you, doomed

On Monday a gladiator clad in Iron will place his sword at the throat of the Spireite as he lays squirming in the dirt of the League 1 arena. He'll look to the crowd for a thumbs up or down sign. With a sharp clinical thrust so he will end the Spireites miserable League 1 life. :D

Might just slip through League 2 like a greasy kebab and a dozen pints through a lardy Staveley lass on a Bank Holiday Monday.

Just had a look on Bobs Board, apparently one of their January signings has 'done a runner' and Gary Caldwell has lost contact with him!

Seriously if you have not taken the time to read Bob's Board please do folks, it is brilliant. I am nursing a cold and nasty cough at the minute and it cheered me up no end, it also made me laugh so much that I coughed so much it hurt, so I read a bit more to cheer me up again and I laughed so much I coughed and it hurt so.................Well you get the picture.

I highly recommend the double drop thread, worst season ever thread and vanishing player thread.
