Thought I'd spent a minute thinking this through
1. Good manager with proven record
2. Cleat idea of backroom
3. Plans for progression
4. Sound financial structure
5. Ambitious local chairman and family
6. Able to attract better players
7. Sandy pate bar full and making as much as it can
8. Kevin Bird bar with enough staff so no queues
9 all records played as requested (including when teams come on pitch)
10. Scoreboard which though not ideal is better than before
11. Team that looks like it's trying
12 special offers to attract floating fans back
13 singing section
14 family section

Probably missed a few but all in all indicative of a club on the up. GREAT TO BE A STAG

Not read then Chad article so apologises if all ready covered or not relevant. Just going by the header

The only thing I would add to that. 15. Positive atmosphere generated by fans on match days.

Agree with all of those, but sound financial structure #4, is pushing it a bit. There are loads of reasons to be proud at the moment, its a great feeling and long may it continue.

Missed the biggest one for me

17.cat 3 Academy status and new training ground on the horizon. Realistic long term gain for the club and the possibility to make some money from quality youth team players. To many years lost out to the like of forest, Derby etc

Real Ale in the Sandy Pâté!

Just need to cut out the horrible goal music and let Q block be heard after a goal goes in.

The goal music means we've scored, be happy about it. If Q block can't be heard over the pathetic PA system then they're not chuffin singing loud enough!

Don't be daft. It's naff and unnecessary. When we score, I want to hear the atmosphere, not some crappy pop song at a million decibels.

Where do you sit Paris? Perhaps you can lend some decibels to where I sit and improve the 5 decibel count from the speakers near me.

Right at the back of the IGU. That might be where the tannoys are, admittedly, but it really does sound crap, especially on the poor quality system we have. It's embarrassing that we're either trying to drown out the sound of our own celebrations or increase the noise because we don't think the fans are loud enough.

Oh well that explains it. All down to the cheap fix on putting the replacement PA at the back of the WSU. The facing speakers at the front of the roof haven't worked for yonks. If you are sat at the back of WSU the speakers will be overpoweringly loud, but towards the front where I sit it's really quiet .

OK, being a bit picky here.

I'd like the teams to be read out more than once. When Alan does it you can't hear him because of all the noise. And, why only read out the scores of the L2 games?

Do they put them on the scoreboard?

Although there are many reasons why we are proud to support MTFC, let's spare a thought for poor old Orient today. The fans there must be in a desperate situation.

Its not that long ago since that was us!
