clarification about late posts

Postby part time pete » Wed Mar 07, 2012 9:33 am

A valid post is up to an hour before kick off.

A post within an hour of kick off counts as a late post ( scores no points, but does not incur the minus 4pts penalty, only occurs minus points if the prediction would have incurred minus points)

A post posted during the game incurs the -4pts penalty, but does not count on the 'three strikes and relegated immediately' rule

A post after the game ( ie after 930pm or 445pm is just ignored) and the match counts as a missed post in the 'three strikes and relegated immediately' rule, unless ofcourse you are in the bottom division, and gets just a -4pts penalty.

The time at which a text is received by myself (on 07969272495) counts as though it was posted on the board.

A bit of advice about so called missing posts

It was confirm he didn't post on the board, even though he thought he posted, perhaps folk need to check after posting that their post has actually been posted.

sometimes if someone else posts after you have started to post but before you sumbit, then you have to submit again by scrolling down the page.

One hour before kick off is the deadline.

Nil points for posting within one hour of kick off, unless that prediction would have scored a minus total then that points scored will stand.

Amendments to posts are accepted; the latest edit/amendment will count as your prediction, so if your prediction is edited within one hour of kick off then the post will incur penalty points.

Not really Dan, this is a copy of a reply to a question from Johhny H, however the reply was on a thread that I have deleted to tidy up the board, but I didn't want to lose this post, so I have copied it here

I'm just glad you started this thread Pete.

I've already forgotten to post in time twice this season, oncoming senility  , at least posting late has saved me 2 x -4 points :)

BTW I'm used to view the league table top down not bottom up. Am I viewing the league table on my screen upside down
