BBC Radio Northampton preview

Postby Martin Shaw » Thu Sep 27, 2018 10:25 pm

I was on BBC Radio Northampton earlier this evening talking about Mansfield's season so far and previewing Saturday's game. You can listen here if you want (scroll to 50 minutes)

https://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/play/p06k5sbr

The programme is called The Cobblers Show. An hour dedicated to Northampton Town on a Thursday night.
"Four points clear as Lincoln are McCaffreyised", CHAD headline, April 1975

Wow a local radio station that devotes time to a 4th Division club. Novel idea.
Theirs not to reason why
Theirs but to do and die

not around here, it isn't.
mind you there is flip all else to talk about here, except how great the shoemaking trade used to be, and how all the foreigners have spoiled the town,
"oh it used to be so nice, but you never hear an english voice downtown anymore!"
i thought the north (anywhere topside of leicester) was racist, but this lot take the biscuit!
a bunch of narrow minded, inward looking bigots, who only stop being brother and sister when they become man and wife.
my one regret is...i have no regrets!
