Anyone know when the squads are announced for the next round of international fixtures?

Will we be three players down?

Dunno, but the league fixtures that would be affected are Grimsby at home on 13th October and Port Vale at home on 17th November. The Checkatrade match v Wolves on Tuesday 13th of November could also be affected.

We do not need too many games in hand. Playing catchup is not good.

Don’t want to be going 2 or 3 games behind if it does affect both Grimsby and Port Vale at home. Particularly against Grimsby I’d rather play with White, Preston, and either Gibbons or Benning in the back 3 than miss another game. Doesn’t do anybody any favours playing catch up in my opinion, but it’s not ideal missing Pearce especially.

Any news on our international contingent? Have they been called up? If so well done to the players and all those involved in their development.

Wonder if Timi Elsnik won't be added to the list? Has he ever been called up for the Slovenian U21s?

Was hoping we'd only lose Sweeney and this game will go ahead?

I think Sweeney’s hardest game was episode 2, series one from 1975. DI Regan gets accused of stealing £35,000 for a wages ‘blag’ that he intercepted.

Some nifty footwork from George Carter as he belts some ‘slags’ from ‘South of the River’.

These games will build up. The weather hasn’t set in yet and we are behind the curve already.

Flitty states the game could have gone ahead despite the 3 international call ups if he didn't have all the other injuries at the club....

What players are out injured who have or started a regular 1st team place ?

Hard night for Ryan they lost 3-1 in Israel , with Germany away to come. They cannot qualify.

MacDonald, Davies, Bishop (suspended for the next league game), White (who he said as at Monday morning he didn't know if he would be available by Saturday; as it turns out by Tuesday he was considered fit enough to play on Tuesday night).
