Colchester up to 3rd. What a massive 2 points dropped that was.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

I think it was even, we were not the better side. A point at Tranmere is OK though.

Davies, Walker and Benning stood out for poor performances. If Flitcroft wants to bring Preston in it will have to be for White, not Sweeney.

Right call dropping Logan, wrong call not taking Walker off IMO.

At least Bobby kept a clean sheet.

A point away is always a good point.

In fairness to Bobby he's done well to come in and take his chance tonight.

TOO MANY DRAWS

anyone else rather we went for broke and went for wins? I knew when Atkinson came on we wouldn’t win... not positive enough

I’m still confident we’ll learn and still be up there this season but hate drawing v teams that we should beat

I think Tranmere will be top half.

Given Macc are likely to be the worst team we have faced so far, I would go for it Saturday. Drop Benning for Mellis, C.J. LWB, Mac RWB, Mellis in the middle.

Win away at Macc and we'll be back on track.

Only 4 games in and we seem to be drawing too many again. 75% infact.

Benning doesn’t deserve to keep his place, looked tired. Macca needs moving from central midfield too

Sounds like a decent point in isolation but that's 1 win in 4 now. 3 in 16 league games for DF.

I just dont think the uk has the infrastructure to effectively provide this service yet.

Seems like a good draw anyway. Played some decent stuff i thought.

Saw it perfectly here. Bad miss trying to chip the keeper who came out quickly.
Had a couple of glitches with the streaming but it seemed to resume where it had left off. Good coverage but didn’t particularly like the camera angle.

What do you mean you knew we wouldn't win when Atkinson came on ? We should of scored whilst he was on but for missing a guilt edged chance.

Agreed, Tranmere look decent going forward on break. Banks looks very good.
If Preston is fit for Saturday then back three of Pearce, Preston and Sweeney with White and CJ as wing backs. No other changes for me unless it’s Mellis for Macca to be a bit more creative.

Still unbeaten this season Jamie.

He's doing a lot better than Nolan.

Yep, or dink if you prefer. In the end he just mis-hit it wide of the post.

Didn't see it as a dink, he open his foot too much and side-footed it wide. The pass from CJ should have been better.

Dissappointed in that second half, we never get going at all but then get a huge chance to win it. Walkers got to be taking those going forward if we want to be at the top end. Think we looked a bit sluggish, particularly Benning and think Davies had an off night too.

Couple of other gripes, we’re nowhere near effective enough when attacking corners - would like to see some work done on that. Also would like to see Khan left on until the end, he’s that player that is capable of creating something from nothing and winning you a game, players like that should be left on in my opinion.

Plus points are we are still unbeaten and Tranmere on a Tuesday was never going to be an easy fixture. Even when we’re not at our best we do get chances.

Also Olejnik looked very assured tonight, was pleased to see him take his chance.
Credit to Flitcroft for the Benning sub too, identified the weakness and sorted it.

Oh, and County lost again

I don't think we were all that bad to be honest. A decent, determined performance at an awkward place to go. And I don't think anyone can argue that nearly all of the best chances fell to us, but the front men weren't on it tonight.

Three points at Macclesfield and we'll be back on target.

ifollow worked well here. Feels like a missed opportunity and annoying draw after the Colchester game. If we had held on Saturday then this point would have felt better. Other than khan, we seem weak going forward with a lack of cutting edge again. Enjoying the football we are playing though and once again CJ impressed!

Agreed. Anything less than three points next is going to be very disappointing though.

********* ***!!!!

Come on, who wants to be first to say it? :P

Way too early to say if we're promotion material or worry about gaps, IMO. For much of last season we were no better, but many will tell you we were the form team when......zzzzzzzz! ;)

I know I'm on my own saying this, but we're sounding remarkably Luton-esque given its 4 games in. Maybe time to panic a little after 10 games?
