Butcher and Mellis look a lot better under Flitcroft. I think the style of play we are playing suits both players

Yes take him off the transfer list and make Rose want to stay as well and don’t need other signings now
Likely to be a good season for us but Lincoln will win it I think they look very strong

Totally deserved and will play a vital part of the season.

If he carries on in the same form then he will be like a new signing. Omari could do the same.

Great news . Very good player on his day . Underachieved under Evans . Him and Mellis look different players with the new style of play .

I'd stick with the same formation for Saturday with Butcher in the same position. Maybe just swap Logan for Bobby and Preston for Sweeney.

I'd leave Sweeney in, absolutely massive presence at the back

Yeah I'm not sure. He was immense defensively, but his distribution wasn't great. Preston was quality and offers a goal threat too. Tough call for Flicker.

Hopefully this is the Callum Butcher that we were meant to sign. If so, big well done to Butch for turning his fortunes around. Absolutely like a new signing.

Typifies the current good vibes that surrounds Mansfield Town.

It's very pleasing to see him doing so well.

Good effort from him and the management staff, like our form - let's hope this continues

Great news, all you can ask is for him to play his way into the team as he has. He looks a lot more comfortable in his natural role as well as much sharper and fitter than last season.

For the first time I can remember in a long long time I think nobody could confidently state our starting 11 Saturday.
What a squad DF has put together , not only his signings but bringing the real Mellis and Butcher etc to the party.

And some wanted him sacked...
These are my opinions , if you don't like them I have others...

I think we should all calm down a little. We’ve no idea who’s decision it was to transfer list him.

It’s good to see he has knuckled down, but so far he’s had one good game. It would be wiser to wait until he’s had five or six.

Butcher is now the player we were told he was. Link up play is getting first class. Fitter, stronger and remarkably quick for a stocky lad he is a very good player at this level.
