Help with a date from the 1968/69 season

Tuesday 8th September 1970 v Liverpool 0-0 att 12,532.

(Lost the replay 3-2 aet. I wasn't there.)

I was at replay. We were robbed. Travelled over pennines in a high sided van, about 6 of us in back sat on free standing benchesbwith lots of cans. Very bumpy and long journey home.
Long time ago when I was a long haired youth, thanks for the memory.
I think Sutton scored for us and Steve Heighway beat us.
My first game was sometime in our first season following promotion from old division four. Think that wad 1963/64. Had just moved to Mansfield and my dad brought me instead of taking me to his club chesterfield.

15th April 1999. Lost 1-0 to Hull at home. I was a Stag before then though, after I met Tony Ford in 1996 when he was doing a school visit to my primary school! (Wasn't allowed to go on my own though and had no one to take me )

Wasn't my first time at Field Mill however, I watched England schoolboys play Wales schoolboys in 1995 and played there with my primary school in 1996!
