Oh dear. How sad. Never Mind.

Has Big Al Hardon made any post match comments?

How is Nolan managing to dwarf that Coventry player in the foreground?

Either the Coventry player is shorter than Bilbo Baggins ankle socks or Nolan is Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson's big brother! ;)

Dan, you're at Meadow Lane a lot - does KN carry around a hip flask or viking cow-horn tankard? :P

Hearing that if County lose to Newport then Nolan is under serious pressure. Don't think Hardy's pre season build up (anything other than promotion would be disappointing) was too dissimilar to Radford's last season but Hardy likes the limelight more than the Radford's ever will.

Nolan could go from hero to zero within 4 months. Oh dear

I had a wheelbarrow, the wheel fell off has never sounded so apt.

You'd imagine the fans will put him under pressure if they lose at both Newport and Lincoln, which are tough away games you definitely wouldn't want if you can't defend

I am a bit confused why it is that when the bed wetters play at Sincil Bank they kick off at 1500 but we are forced to start at 1300. More discrimination from SAG?

It’s because the police who do Notts County games do their job properly & dont piss their pants about people having a couple of extra hours drinking time, treat them like adults & surprisingly enough they get no trouble. Amazing when you don’t treat football fans like raspberry what happens isn’t it?!

I'll tell you what the problem is. We are policed by Nottingham. The lazy opinion of Mansfield & Ashfield from Nottingham is - and people can poo poo it if they want but I hear it all of the time from all classes of Nottingham folks - is that our district is; rough, violent and low educated.

This is largely the blanket opinion from people who don't venture this way - they have little reason to - but is the stereotype. Along with the six-fingered, knuckle-dragging, sister-shagging interbreds moniker.

I've had this labelled at me from work colleagues from Nottingham for years - blokes who are constantly on the phone asking for advice or help. Obviously I class these lads as mates and its an ongoing joke. However, I'm from Mansfield and there's a genuine superiority, natural order attitude going on here. That's fair enough, I know who's the brighter spark and that's all that matters.

I'm 99% certain that Nottinghamshire Constabulary holds these same opinions and police's MTFC games accordingly.

not really a stereotype, its more of an archetype for the local person. The only good thing for the town is its creative young people and we all leave in a hurry and occasionally come back to watch stags

Not being funny but Nottingham City is a raspberry hole as are a lot of it’s surrounding areas. Cities like Sheffield smash Notts out of the ball park, just like India are doing to England at the moment.

Sheffield doesn't have much going for it, its really grim in the centre... But small things are popping up making it better. Notts has the most independent businesses in the country outside of London and the city centre is alright.... Not the best but its alright. Mansfield is embarrassing.

Don't talk rubbish, Mansfield town centre is great. We have a huge array of closed down shops and spice zombies.
