Its a raspberries old market town, all its young creative talent leave in a hurry, the towns becoming a dull ghost town, its never sunny, the grounds got three sides, is terribly wonky... but the support and the clubs infrastructure and the chance of success make it one to hate. UP THE MANSFIELD!

I’ve not read the article yet but it’ll be interesting to see who they’ve interviewed and when. If it’s the Grimsby public there will be geographic bias towards their religious rivalries and if it was done at the time Evans and the clubs we’re planning on smashing the league the topical news would have had an effect.

I’m quite happy being the hated team, it generally means people consider you a rival or are envious. The MK Dons thing is obviously different. Living in MK myself I find it good wind up material!

We only made No 5 on Grimsby fans list of hated teams and were surprisingly beaten by Forest Green Rovers and Cheltenham

With it only being League 2, I suspect they would be No 2 on ours, behind County of course.

I am not surprised we are not well liked, we have always had a pretty high proportion of knuckle draggers who attach themselves to our club, especially at the bigger away games. Those near the bottom of the list can best be classed as the "meh" clubs.

Probably because we've been in L2 that long over the years that everyone's grown to know us and hate us!

This poll is very silly indeed, and it has very little credence.

Any unpopularity that we may have garnered over the last couple of years is probably down to the Steve Evans factor. That will fade.

As i looked down the list I wondered where Chesterfield were? ..... Oh hang on a minute ... I forgot they are non-league!

I don't know Rob, i think Lincoln would top it. Naturally now Olly Palmer has left some of the anger will defuse after the game last season.

But regards Notts County i don't hate them, how can you? I infact pity them as they are the gift that keeps giving from the chairman downwards and are a good source of entertainment.

If results change then yes that view could equally change but for now....
