maybe their train was delayed :O

Still in there, deep in conversation. Maybe Macca has been sent in to mediate between the two and the manager, as possible vice captain. Not many smiles from them I have to say.

Don’t think Danny rose as ever smiled

Let’s all jump to conclusions about 3 blokes having a coffee. Biggest question is will this be a thread until January?

Mansfield needs a Starbucks.

What Mansfield really needs is a Dunkin Donuts.

Why aren't they sat in Nando's, or at least Sainsburys cafe?

you're talking out your backside... A. Starbucks scored only 3 in his last 36 starts. hardly prolific.

We are agreeing far too much. We have Krispy Kreme down here and they’re sugary gloop. Dunkin’ rocks.

I hope that Danny now comes off the transfer list and throws himself into our season with real enthusiasm. If he has not signed for anyone then he is now aware of his current market value. The only way to lift this is to score goals as part a successful team.

Krispy Kreme is the Devil's raspberry.

Whenever we go to the US half a suitcase on the return leg is full of DD Original Blend coffee.

From what I hear its more likely that he will go out on loan in the next week or so with a view to a permanent deal.
Maybe still with Peterborough but there are other interested clubs !!

I think we will bring a striker in on loan before end of August too

If true that seems very sad and poor business from either the club, Danny or both. Why would someone who asks for a transfer after stronger strikers are brought in to out on loan if no-one can meet his asking price?
It appears that he is not as sought after as he thought and needs to crack on now and start playing for us. We do not need two of our three main strikers to be loanees. That is not sustainable.

he could still leave, but if we managed to get a loan signing in then I'd be happy. Sell rose to Luton and get Collins on loan for a season!

We can still loan with an agreement to a permanent.

It would be crazy to let Rose go out on loan.

How would that benefit the club?

But we would need to pay wages to his replacement.

A loan with an agreed deal is just the same as a sale.

It just gives us more time to source a replacement.

I like the way the Radfords now do business (business like as opposed to twitterlike)
