we ain't even kicked a ball in a competitive game yet, I'd hang on until a few weeks in with this post  It's gonna be totally different type of game against Newport than any of the championship teams we've played well against

No but evans got us so high ,it felt like a terrible season ,mr flitcroft has shown us that humility is a quality to be admired i think hes got the makings of a great manager ,plus the fact he wants to be here i know not a lot to be so positive about ,but i just get the feeling hes the man for us daft ,who knows :coys:

I said in another thread that you can see why Flitcroft struggled with Evan's squad. The training is different. The tactics are different. It's almost polar opposite.

When you listen to mr flitcroft ,he is so certain of what he does ,he doesnt keep referring to his previous clubs ,hes a man with a point to prove ,and hes going to quieten a few folks down this season ,he was not wanted at swindon by all accounts ,he will get the backing from the owners ,needs it from the fans as well if we bak him he will get us promoted ,of that i am certain

Flipflop's done nothing yet, fingers crossed he can achieve when it really matters.

I have always liked DF. I too think we're in safe hands. Just hope he can perform when it counts.

He's gone about this summer quietly. The emphasis has been on training not transfers.

Its about putting good runs together and its about winning the next game when we've lost.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

New season, new hope!

A clean slate for the manager and preseason has looked pretty good, I’m optimistic but we haven’t got a point on the board yet and they matter much more than anything else.

I like DF, but I wouldn't describe him as eloquent. His interviews are a bit painstaking, but he's not honest and hard working and that comes across. I also think he has more of a tactical approach than Evans, who didn't really seem to have any tactics. I wish him all the best. I've seen a lot of blogs etc. putting him down as there candidate to be the first manager in League Two to get the boot.

Flip flop will get us promoted this season and John and Carolyn will finally be rewarded for their persistent loyalty.

You heard it hear first. And I never ever usually sense any Stags based success, including this time last year, despite all of the hot air.

we've drawn Blackburn in the League Cup...for the third season running!
Any news on signings CEO? (tweet to Carolyn)
I've seen him play for 34 seconds and he's rubbish.

I think Flitcroft was uninspiring at the end of last season. This season, ! think he is inspiring! I thought that he owed us the title if we stuck with him. The football is going to be good. Will promotion do?

I’ve always thought Flitcroft was a good appointment. For whatever reason, and only fat mans players can answer it, it didn’t seem to happen at the end of last season. Keep the faith in him as this year we are going to achieve with him I. Charge and come the end of the season we will all be saying “who was this Steve Evans chap?”
