he played up front in a 3-5-2 formation. I have a comment on him in my full report, coming up in a minute.

Was it 3-5-2 or perhaps a 3-1-1-2-2-1?

We might win against Accrington next time, if we ever play them again.

Hey Martin was just wondering if there would be match highlights going up from the game or not?

Cheers

I don't have the footage at present. However The Source filmed the game on the club video camera, Mark has the footage, and I would guess that Mark will put together some highlights soon. Mark has done some cracking videos already this week as I'm sure you've seen.

Nuno Valente, didn't he play in the Portugese national team?

Yes but that was a different Nuno Valente. Thank you wiki.

Yes I have seen them and they have been great, I have really enjoyed the CJ cam which has given an insight into the players relationships, and it’s nice to see the new boys getting on with some of the oldies, Otis and walker with Pearce and benning etc

Thanks for the update looking forward to seeing how we played

It's interesting that in the Portuguese report we were judged to be somewhat physical.

Different football cultures I suppose.

"The game was played in a nice little stadium with a capacity of about 600. Similar to plenty of non-league stadiums around England, though admittedly smaller than the Proact Stadium."

Hahaaaa. Excellent.

Are Vitoria REALLY known as “the sadists”?

Or was it the best that Google Translate could come up with?

The so-called "Golden" decade
The Vitórianos generally consider the 1960s to be their golden decade. They say this because, through their eyes, winning the mediocre Taça de Portugal is a terrific achievement[2]. They also achieved a frankly brilliant 2nd place in the Liga, at a time when Três Grandes were at their peak, so admittedly Setúbal have a reason to look back. However, the frankly dreadful UEFA Cup performances earned the nearby Sadino River the unwanted title of "River with most dead bodies in a year" as fans, feeling the saddest they ever had, threw themselves to an inevitable oxygen-lacking end. This feat gave Setúbal their second nickname, the double-entendre "Os Sadinos".
