Davies so happy to work for Flitcroft again

Postby Chadman » Mon Jul 02, 2018 2:27 pm

New signing Craig Davies didn't have to think twice about coming to Stags as he believes the manager will once again bring the best out of him in his second spell working under him.

Davies article in the chad

Postby Chander Lear » Mon Jul 02, 2018 3:17 pm

It's about time that the staff from the chad are fired

Cannot even get the manager right in the article, constant spelling mistakes, and just poor journalism all around.

"Striker Craig Davies is delighted to be playing for David Holdsworth for a second time after joining Mansfield Town for an undisclosed fee from Oldham Athletic on Friday.

The 32-year-old target man played for Holdsworth at Barnsley and believes he is the manager that can get the very best out of him next season."

Hahahaaaaaa... Wasnt aware he was back. I'll expect a few more signings then.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

I'm a bit baffled how highly experienced Chad Stags reporter John Lomas can make such a blunder...seems peculiar. Obviously not just a typo!

Great to have Dave back on board. Expect the texture of everything to change from now on.

You're better off with the official site

The story is correct
It's posted earlier
The club get the clicks

The Chud is just embarrassing, they were even trying to get clicks from Craig's work last week.

Welcome back David Holdsworth though, even Private Dunno didn't see that one coming

I don't understand the stick the Chad has recieved over the article ?

They done a lovely piece when the team landied in Portugal and players disembarking from the plane .
.
When the Vulcan bomber carrying the Stags players landed in the beautiful Portuguese resort of Venice , First out of the plane was Holdsworth followed by his recent triple signings of Pate , Bird and Clarke .
The seven man squad are looking forward to their stay in the Costa del Sol . They are eagerly waiting for the preseason friendly against the Welsh outfit , Queen of the North .
Logam said in his Jamaican accent , By heck me duck I can't wait to put my number 10 s shirt on .
With music on the background coming from his beat box . Didi David Hamilton was asked if he was looking forward to his first start for the Stags
Three of the black guys , Pearce , Benning and McDonald stopped to sign autographs for some of the Stags Fans , all wearing the home colours of red and white .
The players first port of call was the local bar in Paris . All went for a pint except Briscoe who went to Costa Coffee .
The fans have high expectations after avoiding relegation by one point . They are looking forward to their local derby against Carlisle and are hoping to come away with a win and 2 points .
More updates and a interview from Carol (get in ) Radford will be available on our Ched website shortly .

Then it's on to our first game of the season on the 33rd of November against Stockport .

it's almost every article though, I'm not really bothered about it but if your website is stuffed to the brim with stupid adverts and questionnaires then we could at least expect a stags article without simple spelling mistakes, or in this case getting the manager completely wrong

The Chad was a brilliant weekly newspaper that was looked forward to every Wednesday/Thursday
It was the best coverage of the stags you could get (and to see who had died)
The Internet has spoiled that in so many ways and we have to remember the journalists of now are not the same of those of years gone by.
The same could be said for radio Mansfield it's an amateur set up with some good presenters trying to get a start in radio.
They are paid so little for a lot of hard work but hopefully they can move on.
It seems the only way to make money in the local media is through advertising and not so much the good stories.
Any crime story can be found on Notts police website and any football story can be found at your local clubs website
Hence the decline of the football program sales.

Speaking of Mansfield FM, did anyone ever find out the hero who kept hacking in to play Ivor Bigun?

I'd have loved to buy that person a drink!

Chadman,

Come on mate, I know things at the Chad/Johnson's Press are not exactly great and the Chad's circulation is diminishing as fast as its credibility but you can do better than this?
