I liked the ABBA penalty format. There is a big advantage in taking the first penalty kick.

Is it true that Lord Lucan has been seen since we last bumped in to Round 2?

Why were you at Elland Rd? Was it Rugby League or something? I find it fascinating the followings that RL clubs get at times.

Might happen again now the stupid seeding idea has finally been dropped.
More chance of progressing against a team from your own level instead of the guaranteed draw against a Championship/top half L1 team.
The idea that this guaranteed us a big game was ridiculous - a big cup game is against a Premiership club, not Burton, Rotherham or Florist.

I thought the ABBA format was an excellent idea but they did go On and On and On

If Torres had still been at Liverpool there would have been some great headlines if he scored the winning penalty in an ABBA shoot out.

Isn't Headingly a Rugby League ground in Leeds? I can't see why England had to play at Elland Rd when they've a perfectly good RL in Headingley.

Why would an England association football match be played at a RL ground.

England beat Costa Rica at Elland Road 2-0 last Thursday.

What would make penalties "fairer" would be 2 at a time. Ref stands in the centre circle. 2 linesmen on the edge of both boxes making sure it's legit. Both teams go first, both teams go last. Can't be fair than that.
