He's still in the early stages of his time here and the jury is still out on him after a poor start.

Admitting to mistakes while the narrative that it was mostly Evans' fault is still plausible wouldn't be a good idea. He's trying to steady the ship. Throwing more doubt on his ability isn't the way to do that.

Do you not think that he was trying to steady a ship that wasn't listing in the first place ?

Yeah to an extent, but that still doesn't mean he shouldn't try to do that now.

Even blocking him don't work as folks often quote all of his boring , tick tock , flictcroft bashing bile.

He seems to have taken over this whole board spewing his boring anti progress views on every thread.

Exactly. He’s a massive hypocrite and doesn’t even have the intelligence to understand that. Calls me a bully, yet anyone with a different opinion to his is labelled a lemming. All he does is stamp his feet about something negative. It’s the pitch, the lack of signings, the wrong signings, the manager, yada yada.

You point out the hypocrisy to him and he’s just too simple to see it.

You’re ignt about blocking him too. People just quote his boring bilge and you get to read it.

He’s a dotard.

Personally I just find you to be an abusive version of Sisco.Yorkie is a dull version of Sisco a Edders is a camp version of Sisco.

I’m hardly guilty of political correctness, Whiffy. I’m not at all sensitive. It’s just that your comment was incorrect.

I thought it might have been aimed at me Edders, but I'm about as politically correct as prince Phillip, so I just put it down to being more drunken ramblings from Col Blimp railing against the world from his bath chair.

So anyhoo, back to the topic. Despite not 'feeling it' this summer I'll be popping down to the Wonk later to pay for our STs again.

I'll also be cancelling my SKY season ticket, as I think the boredom generated every time I waste 2 hours watching the likes of Man City and Spurs complete hundreds of passes in return for zero shots on goal is major contributer to the general ennui I feel towards the game at the moment.

Pre season itis is great, unfortunately it leads to...........

"Fixture release date" itis
"I can't believe the SAG have moved that" itis
"I'm not paying to watch b teams" itis
"Cup ticket allocation" itis
"How are you getting to Nottingham" itis (with the related "I've contacted East Midlands trains" itis)
"Why isn't the ticket office open on Christmas Day" itis
"I've heard there'll be Notts fans in the home end" itis
"I'm a better manager/player than those professionals" itis
"Mansfield doesn't deserve a club" itis (small gates)
"Ive had to queue to get in, and they ran out of pies" itis (large gates)
"The clubs crap" itis
"The towns crap" itis
"The managers crap" itis
"The fans are crap" itis
"Gabitas gate" itis

Bring it on
