I'd have taken Hemmings if the deal was right, I liked him - he had good workrate and brought other players in well - but not for the speculated wages, not for 3 years of those speculated wages, and not as the teams main striker, so the deal wasn't right. So, as he might have accounted for a large proportion of budget, when it could be put towards someone who might be more effective in their position then I can see why we decided to not pursue a deal. The money can get a better return, it's not that difficult.
