£150k seems too high

If the rumours of Hemmings are true I would imagine that would be a similar fee?

How long before the buckets are out again at Notts County

I read hardy stated county were losing millions a year , don't know if they still are but it's risky chucking out money on transfer fees if this is true.

Anyway, Dennis could get injured in pre season and be out till Christmas. Now that would be a signing and a half ;)

Put me right if I've got this wrong.

Alledgedly, Dennis made comments about the miners strike in relation to Mansfield, does he not realise there were pits around Nottingham too?

He was probably repeating what Sir Jack told him about the miner's strike. It is very likely he knew nothing about it before that.

It hurts to say it but he will do well for Notts.

Just disappointed he hasn't signed for us.

He would have been a decent signing for us.

If he wasn't coming to us would have been better going to league 1 and not a rival.

As if Dennis was ever going to sign here.....not only would most not want him from spireites, he would be unlikely to sign unless a stupid offer was on the table which would be equally unpalatable.

After his comments before we played them I don’t care how good he is ( looks poor imo) I wouldn’t have wanted him...

So County have just paid a big transfer fee and possibly big wages for two players who were relegated from League 2 last season........and these were on Alan Hardy's A List

Their other signing played for (relegated) Chester last season.

There's a common theme here, if only I could see it..........

No offence Tippy, but i don't think any of us are bothered what MacAnthony thinks.

Him and Hardy are cut from the same cloth. Their clubs are just penis extensions for them.

I was wondering if this has turned into a Peterborough publicity site. The bloke appears to be a massive clown. One thing that is for certain that three egos like his, Fatty and Barry Fry-Up will end in tears.

Of that there is no doubt.

Papa Smurf at Port Vale said the following about Krystian Dennis:

"Meanwhile, Smurthwaite says the Valiants were serious bidders to sign Dennis, who scored 21 goals for the Spireites last season. However, he says Vale were closer to meeting Chesterfield's asking price - which was initially reported at £100,000 - than they were the player's wages. He said: "Chesterfield put a price on him, we met 90 per cent of the price, but we wouldn't meet the wage demands of the player which would have made him, historically, one of the highest paid players in the last 15 years. So, Neil said no. I was prepared to go to a point, but then we looked at it Neil said no I am not prepared to do it, so we walked away from that."

Still think Angol can be, with better supply and experienced partner up front.

A daring and tantalizingly original opening question of cliffhanger quality.

Let's hold our breath and wait for responses of equal excellence.
