Try filing it in B1N.

Everyone knows we have been short on goals for the last three or four seasons. The only way out of this cycle is to sign a proven striker, someone unlike Miller, who has done it at league level.

Why not ask about Bent now that he is out of contract and free. If he prices himself out, so be it.

We definitely need one because 4 times out of 5, Angol is absolute rhubarb.
Nobody can predict when that 1 in 5 good game will come.

I don't think anyone thinks he had a great season Dave, but he did do very well for Lincoln so there clearly is a good player in there, maybe DF can get the best out of him, if he does, then I think he could do very well for us. Of course, we do need at least two more strikers anyway, with Hemmings and Miller gone back and your mate Jimmy released.

I read it totally different, Yorkie.

Rob's underlying message is that we can't rely on 1 player, so as priority we should look to make our midfield more potent, and hence any 1 of several players can have an off day without destroying our scoring chances...

You ask Rob and i bet he'll confirm that's what he really meant! :P
