they've got a fair amount of Dosh I'd imagine from their home attendances, good cup run last year and winning the checkatrade n all.

Annoyed due to the fact that if you read Lincoln’s forum it’s clearvthey don’t have a big budget and generally can’t compete...
We clearly have a decent budget (albeit tied up in unwanted players) so not being in the running to sign a proven goal scorer that has also played at s higher level would just add fuel to the fire regarding flitcroft ability to attract players of decent quality and or an indication that we don’t have a decent budget.

If we choose to not be interested then I’m excited to see who else we bring in that will be better tbh

Lincoln have had a good few years now football wise and financial wise with the FA cup run they had the season before plus the cup win at Wembley this season on top of that they’ve enjoyed record season ticket sales this season. So it makes good buisness sense to build on that momentum by signing quality players that will get them out this league . Ps get your money on them to be promoted this season

The Bogle rumour came from ExAgent tweet about two League Two clubs chasing him. He has subsequently said it is not Mansfield

He said Mansfield wasn't the first club he mentioned therefore implying it could have been the second mention

It doesn't mean every account with 69 followers is a fake. Of course not and I was not suggesting that.

But it does mean that an account with 69 followers set up only to deliver transfer rumours, and only active during transfer windows, is a fake.

He's up to 70 followers now with all the publicity he's getting on here!

There are many reasons why a play may not sign, but I think our biggest one is the budget

I for one hope that the Mason Bennett rumours are true and that he signs for us !!!!
Personally I would be surprised....but hope i'm wrong.

Anyone that calls Mason has clearly not seen him play on a regular basis...….he can be immense if played in the right position.
This is a player that worked himself into the starting X1 last year at DCFC under Rowett before a crude 2 footed tackle put him out of the game and he then worked himself back into a loan move at NCFC before a torn hamstring saw him off all season].

Trust me when I say that EVERY Lg2 club would rather have him than play against him every week.

I hope he signs...…..but It would not surprise me too see him in FL plans for next season
