Appears CR and JR were at the races according to Twitter.

And Carolyn looked pretty decent, if I’m honest.

She's on Question Time this week. Maybe she'll anounce a new signing then.

He will be fine on the new improved pitch at the Wonk.

Could it be that we have actually signed players but we're being very tight lipped on the matter and they aren't being 'unveiled' so to avoid unwanted media attention.

What would peoples view of this be, if in portugal we saw 4 players that we hadnt seen before?

Don't be silly. If they sign someone then it's in the club's interest to put it out and about.
For every hit on t'club website and that fantastic service ifoolow t'club recieves revenue so it makes little sense to hide our new lads under a blanket in the boot room.

Could it be that any other signings will be announced at the pre season friendlies? I seem to recall this has happened in the past.

If I were Carolyn or MTFC I'd deliberately not announce any signings, just to get the backs up of all those impatience buggers that are constantly nagging them on social media to get on with signings.

Just like the rest of us, these people (you know who you are morons) have zero idea what goes in to signing footballers. I'd be in Carolyn's job for about an hour because I'd tell you all to do one and let me get on with my job.

It's amazing how you lot can fill pages and pages about absolutely nothing. It takes a real skill. Why not just check the news page on Stagsnet or wait for the club to make an announcement and then read it. Patience or silent impatience are the order of the day!

I think the strategy that JR and Carolyn are using is the right one, Last season was the, 'Look and see what we're doing', this season is under the radar, business people learn, especially when it costs you money. There will he signings without doubt. The razzmatazz last year got us nowhere except disappointment

So today is the day when the players and the manager get back together for pre season training. As a result I would also expect a managers press release this week as well, maybe on Tuesday?
We may get to find out if new players are arriving soon? Or not, meaning no new players planned in near future. Many contracts for players in all leagues run until 30th June so they have to wait for contracts to end before signing new ones for a new club. Some sign anyway and they come into force on 1st July if both clubs are happy.
But 2nd July is Portugal so that's at least another week gone before transfer window shuts and leaves four weeks until Newport arrive at the wonk. Whatever the strategy is for the new squad its starting to get tight for bedding new players in and getting them to gel together before Newport. Opinions are divided we go with what we have OR we need two new strikers minimum. I just hope the club become transparent this week and tell the fans how its going to be. Are we making big signings or have we missed out to other clubs or there simply is not enough money in the pot at the moment.

3 signings this week added to the 2 already ,Macca resigning and a couple of the the transfer listed players returning with a change of attitude or appplication and we are well on our way.

One f, hope you are right.

Would love to sit back later today and think, OMG quality signings and a recognised striker too. WOW.

Can't see it happening unfortunately

Seems a reasonable prospect but you couldn't expect him to be the 20 goal man. Had quite a few injuries and long term could be a prospect but not the finished article yet.

I would welcome Tyler as a valued player but would still want a proven striker.

We’ve got the 20 goal men already. They need better service (and a modicum of luck).

we do have that man already. as I said on another thread our problem was from midfielders and defenders not getting on the score sheet enough. take a look a Luton's team this year, I think there were a couple midfielders who got or nearly got 10 goals +
