Not getting good vibes so far.

Doesn’t sound confident on Macca

JR & CR currently looking at 7 players.

We're looking at 7 players, none are close but we are negotiating. Looking for a squad of 24 so not sure how those numbers are stacking up as we only have 10 first team lads that he wants to keep? Not even all of those were regulars. Carolyn said that we would be excited by some of the names which is good news, sounds like we're after some decent players! Hoping to get some in in the next couple of weeks.

When asked about Macdonald there was a bit of a swerve and went on to talk about negotiations. Have a feeling it's turning out quite difficult to get his new contract over the line so wouldn't be totally surprised if he went now. Others may have a different view on that answer.

Last season there was plenty of buzz and ultimately sod all delivered.

Perhaps the Radfords are taking the opposite approach and not alerting all agents that we have money to burn and will pay double anyone else.

I can see quite a few of the transferred players still being here at the start of next season.

They are 100% more cautious in the way they are coming across, they’ve openly said we fancied ourselves a little to much last season which lead to our downfall as other clubs saw us as a scalp.

General mood doesn’t seem confident ahead of the new season though. Usually very confident people

Given their opening gambit was that they’d just had a domestic then they’re probably not in the best of moods.

Quick someone please ask them two questions:

1) Are they spending one million big uns on a striker?

2) Why not?

Thanks in advance.

Can someone ask why no early bird season ticket this year?

Also why are junior season tickets so high when compared with other clubs?

Thank you.

Maybe they are subdued because they now realise the situation the "Scottish" manager has left them in.

I think I would feel the same.

Possibly but then again they may not be over confident with Flitcroft .

To add to this, John later mentioned 7 youth team players training with the first team so my interpretation is the squad will be made up of 10 from last year, 7 new signings and 7 youth team players. Could turn out completely different.

Other points;
No need to change the badge.
No need to redevelop bishop street yet, there simply isn't the demand and he is completely correct.
There's a couple of clubs bidding for our transfer listed players.
