Scottish sensitivity > English snobbery

No arguments from me there, pal.

I disagree that his football is terrible.
I disagree that he hoofs it in to channels.
I disagree that he comes across as unlikable.
I disagree that he's boring.
Obviously the home form has been catastrophic, but mainly due to our stinking attempts at goalscoring.

The only thing that really grinds my gears has been his wholesale changing things in March and the hair pulling insistence on sitting back on a lead.

If I was a visiting fan reading Stagsnet I'd read certain prolific posters and determine that supporting Mansfield Town is akin to nailing your ballbag to the cobbles of Red Square.

I think his football, has been very poor, and perhaps bordering on terrible
I dont think, we have all seen many balls hoofed from back to front, but more down the middle than the channels
I think he comes across as a very likeable individual and certainly appears very gregarious....until he speaks about football, and it is choc a bloc with worn, generic cliches, and as yet seems pretty loathe to put his hands up for mistakes
Boring? No not really, don't know him well enough to say that, but on the flip side, don't need to know him to know his footy is pretty boring
My hair pulling frustration comes with the tactics he deploys which are to put it mildy, annoying as they are confusing.

Whether he was the same at Swindon, who knows, but his CV looked fine, and most thought it was a good appointment, cant berate JR in the slightest for that, and certainly cant blame him for the on pitch capitulation these past couple of months. Personally, even though the way he walked still really irks, I dont think you can blame the fat man. Culpability has to be aimed at DF, but as he is clearly staying, those thoughts now get binned, and we all have to get behind him, and am sure we will.

That said, if the first twelve league games next season are like the last twelve (which surely none of us want or expect) it's conceivable that John could be making another appointment before October, lets all cross fingers that it doesn't come to that

I don’t think the football has been much different to Evans to be honest only the results . The second half against Crawley was as good as anything this season ,except the result

Typical social media personal abuse, I wonder if the trolls would say it to the persons face, DON'T THINK SO! Anyways this is a forum related to JR speech thats gone a little off track. I thought JR's speech was as i never doubted a person who is first and foremost a Stags fan, with a dream and cash to foresee his dream; however this can all change should the trolls (or the people who use the expression I have a right) slowly start to wear JR down with arguments that really are trivial, this site is most likely viewed to gauge opinion has it's a free generic census . JR's supporting DF so lets all of us get behind the team and the manager for next season. I shall offer as much support as I can provide as i have done each and every season. COYS

Well said.

We need to forget about this season, draw a line under it. Fresh start for Flitcroft now, no excuses, he's building his team to play his way now. The objective will still be promotion next season and we all need to be pulling in the right direction to achieve that!! there'll be some great quotes on here if we find ourselves promoted in a year's time ;)
