Chad? Billboards? Somewhere in town? Leaflets?

Kinda makes it a tad pointless if it’s not advertised. Not having a go, just seems we lack common sense on these things at times.

Always said this, get a load of leaflets printed. There’s local companies who will leaflet drop wherever you like for £30 per 1,000 leaflets

Just been on an automated price check for one company. To deliver to every letterbox in postcodes NG17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22, a total of 115,641 letterboxes was quoted as £5,782:05. For me surprisingly cheap.

An average of just over 2 people per letterbox means reaching over 250,000 people, 2.3 pence each.

Of course the price of printing has to be added.

Surely it’s worth a try?

Even if they asked fans for help distributing them I’m sure we could all do our own areas

First print site I went on would print 120,000 A5 leaflets for just under £1,200 so with the distribution cost that's 250,000 people reached for £7,000, or less than 3p each.
If we didn't make our £7,000 back off of that then we would all have to jump to Spiritater's side of the apathy fence.

The club has been here for over 100 years. If you need a leaflet to tell you anything about it you're clearly not a fan or someone who will spend that much money on it.

It’s called advertising. We have a new product and we aren’t advertising it.

We don’t push this club enough to the local area

So how do you propose dispelling the myth it costs a dad the best part £40 to take him and his lad along to The Stags, when it is only £17 with a family ticket, available on the day. How do you propose letting the dad who isn't really interested in football, therefore clearly not a fan, but has two footie mad lads, that with the membership he can get them all in for £23?

Come on Dan, instead of just 'Poo Pooing' other peoples ideas give us your wisdom on how to get those who don't know about these offers the message.

SSA could fund the print. The fans would put their names forward for which area they want to deliver in, ie where you live. Delivery's done for free. You go out to walk the dog at night and deliver, 50-60 a night over 14 day period. If you don't have a dog it's ok you can pretend.

I'm not knocking anything, but it's a fact. There are actual Stags fans out there who don't come even though they'll know about these offers etc so you'll have no chance of getting someone in whose not even a fan of the team, football or the area.

The best advertisement is word of mouth. If people see us in league 1 or high up in the table people will see it and come & have a look or talk to people they know who are fans to ask them if it's worth coming etc

Perhaps some of the 'moaning' could have been avoided and better understanding of the reasoning behind the deals could have been achieved. Communication is the key.

stone the crows.....i agree with froggie on this one!!

also can you pay in instalments for a season ticket?

If I knew you were going to agree with me, I'd have never said it! :D

Will the club be putting any extra staff on for the QLE food kiosks? It nigh on impossible to get a drink or whatever at half time now, never mind with an extra amount of people in there.

Never understand why they don't just have a kiosk or stall just for beer. Other clubs do it.

I don’t understand why they don’t just have one for pies. Let the beer drinkers queue up.

Over 100 memberships have been sold within the first day, good start!

Hoping a few loudmouths are venturing over and we can make a racket all season long. We've had no end of goals scored against us at the North Stand with a crowd sucking the ball in, we need to replicate this in the QLE

Many are staying in Q block from what I have been reading online. They prefer the view and being closer to the away fans.

Seen plenty say they ARE moving over... I reckon it will be around 70/30 (70% staying, 30% going over to the QLE)

It will only take a good core group of loudmouths to get that stand going, personally I can't wait! I think it's going to be great for the atmosphere. QLE can bounce off the Q block and vice versa.
