Postby Martin Shaw » Thu May 03, 2018 10:33 pm

Jamie McGuire has confirmed on facebook that he's continuing to work for the MTFC academy. He left Boston at the end of the season and is look to continue to play part time

Will Jamie be turning out for Retford United next season? Or will he be coaching there also?

And nice to know he still upsets people :P

You could always guarantee someone around him would get wound up and react during the match. Quite often it was himself ;)

That the sort of midfield spirit we've missed imo
If i look in pain it's because i'm thinking

I agree. Good job we had him the season where we were in danger of going down.

Jamie McGuire one of the best clubmen we’ve had. Always gave 100%, and loved the club.

"In his four years as player with the club he was part of the promotion winning team from the Conference National in 2012-13 before taking up a role with the academy side of things when his contract expired in 2017. I caught up with him to find out just how life is now without full time football and his year in the academy."

Wrong??

I honestly think if we'd had Jamma playing the last 10 games we would have made the play offs. He is exactly what were missing in the middle of the park. Glad to hear he is staying.

I think you’re right. What he was short on talent, he more than made up for on testicular fortitude.
