Ricky Miller will always score goals as will Green and Kee.They all have one main attribute they know where the net is.Miller just needs a chance whether it is with us or another team only time will tell.

As I successfully predicted that Stagsnet would have a regularly updated Matt Green thread around this time last year I'm going to stick my neck out and predict that this Ricky Miller thread will also go on throughout at least the next season

Can't be that good then, he's scored 2 goals in about 24 football league appearences. If he needs just one chance, where's he been stood... Burger bar? Holding the corner flag? Stewarding?

I wouldn't be against Miller signing, but if we get just 1 striker this summer i'd hope it was someone more proven at this level. He'd be a great 2nd choice striker with the potential to become a star IF he can make that leap, and provided he's happy to take that cameo-role/ lower wage and prove himself when the opportunity comes. If he isn't prepared to accept that then best of luck Ricky

Disagree with that. Kee had scored goals in the league where as miller hasn't

that would depend who he brings in, if it’s a quality striker i would agree, however if it isn’t then Ricky boy would have been maybe the best option

The same Matt Green who only scored the same amount of goals as both Danny Rose and Kane Hemmings last season (14) yet our strikers aren't clinical enough and he would have been our saviour according to some people?

He missed several chances in the play off 1st leg which ultimately may have cost them a shot at the final, he is NOT a clinical striker.

Billy Kee has always been a good player, he was having well documented issues when with us, real shame but he moved on and sorted himself out and good for him I say.

Too much obsession with strikers in my opinion, the lack of goals from other areas was more worrying last season, this needs addressing more. CJ scored in 1 league game, Macca scored in 2, Mellis maybe 2. These players are still with us and appear to be front runners for starting births, these 3 again only in my opinion are the ones who need to step up in terms of quantity of goals as they are all alleged attack minded players, if all these were to get towards 10 goals a piece then you can add another 25 goals onto our goals for column, how many more points could that potentially make?

Who needs a 20 goal a season striker if 4 midfielders or defenders managed to get 5 goals each over a season. Doesn't sound like a massive ask does it?

Ricky miller is 28 years old ,hes had his chance ,failed to impress managers enough to be worth a risk better players out there i would wager he wont even start 20 games in league 2 next season if he does and manages more than 10 goals i would be surprised ,sometimes you have to accept its not everybody else,s fault

And David Flitcroft doesn't want to sign him either! Given that DF has worked with the player for 12 games, let's give our manager some support here. Miller hasn't earned that much kudos in his brief time at MTFC or at Peterborough. DF is in the best position to judge what we have, and what he thinks he can get instead. I await to see the alternatives before passing any judgement.

You could go and look you know if you're that brothered..

Basically lists the team's who's been interested, including portable and Lincoln and I think Dover. He's desperate to find a club. I'd have him back but it doesn't look likely
