Never had much of a budget and done pretty well at Exeter.
Given a few quid and a closed/pre-season with our squad, plus a couple of additions, I for one think he'd do very well at The Mill.

A few moronic Exeter fans have chanted for him to leave. I bet the silent 95% are very happy with the job he's doing, and so they should be.

Very good manager. Would love to have him on board. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Radfords stick with Flitcroft and allow him to stamp his mark on the side though.

But Tisdale's had the luxury of some stability and backing by the board. I'd imagine at times the Greeks fans have been baying for his blood. The board however have backed him and not paraded the firing squad after a 12 game bad spell.

I remember last season they'd not won at home for what seemed like 100 years... then Stags rolled into town  The rest is history

The problem the board had was that he was on a two year rolling contract and if they sacked him they would have to pay him two years wages which they could not afford.

So a year last November when they hadn’t won at home all season, until they beat us in December, they served him notice. He has been working his two year notice since November 2016 and if he doesn’t sign another deal will leave the club in November.

However if another deal isn’t on the table that he likes in the summer, he will walk anyway.

They may not have done so if it was his first twelve games in charge.

weren't Exeter in the relegation zone last year after like 12 games and still ended up in the play offs?

If we were Exeter, this board would have been foaming at the mouth last October to get rid of him, there'd have been so many Tisdale Out threads that Martin would have had to employ someone full-time to merge them. And now it'd be foaming at the mouth that he wasn't tied to a longer contract and could walk away for free.

Do you honestly blame him for walking ?

Any other manager would have been sacked in Nov 2016 when they were bottom of the league, instead they just gave him the two years notice his contract said as they could not afford to sack him.

Sometimes you can be at a club too long. Paul Tisdale and Exeter City may thrive from having a change of club/manager.

I spend fair bit of time in MK and him going to MK has been all over 3CR and the local rag for the past three weeks.

I posted it on here at the time.

A former fans favourite takes charge of a a big team in this league. That went really well for the sheep down the 617.

Might chuck a fiver on them being relegated at 20/1

Different guy to the Swindon left back. This guy is an ex Exeter captain and centre half. He also played for Hucknall and Matlock when Ernie Moss was their manager. He also went to Sheffield Uni and played for Team Bath.
