One Johnny Radford

Most pleasing aspect of the whole day at ch*****field for me was the acclaim for our owner. So very much deserved.

The day was a passing of the baton. The spireites being handed our decades of misery under a dodgy owner and potential non-league football.

Meanwhile it was sweet that the passionate away following took time to reflect on what is happening to our neighbours and remembered our own deeply dark and depressing times. A number of individuals have since played a part in holding up our club, however, it is John Radford who has ultimately rescued it and allowed us to climb back above the likes of our flailing auld enemy.

Well done one and all for showing the man your important appreciation.

Thinking about the H****m years still gives me horrible goosebumps. The whole period, including when John Batchelor was put up as a potential buyer, and he wanted to rename us Harchester. I’m sure that episode in our history was just those two turning the screw and having a laugh at our expense.
The Spireites are suffering now, an owner who won’t sell, for whatever his reasons are, and a director who enflames the fans whenever he’s in Derbyshire.
John and Carolyn have brought us so very far and I for one will always be grateful. COYS!!!

It was so much better to be singing positively about our chairman than about theirs.

It clearly wasn't JR, it was the same guys who walked in front of us when away at Luton.

Nyland? And another.

They are still in Dubai picture posted this morning, making reference to the result.
