anyone else up for this when the players walk out and the teams line up?

put your name against a team below, print their name as big as possible, landscape, on A4 paper, and hold it up for the above. A quick reminder to help our friends remember where they'll be going next season.

imo this will fire their players up even more and backfire big style. Do it when we are a few goals ahead with minutes remaining youth.

Cringe.

Let’s wait until we’re 3-0 up (hopefully) before we start these antics and roll out the “going down” chants.

Let’s not forgot as hilarious it is that Chesterfield look like they are heading to the National Laague this is a massive game and we have to win it.

What they said. Remember when people thought it was funny taunting Ollie Palmer last month? Not so funny when he shoved it all back at us!
Taunting them tomorrow might be inevitable to some extent but it's a sure fire way to help their motivation. I'd go so far as counting it as a goal start.

I like your style but don't think you've thought this through Rich

I can't believe what 8 games has done to our support, nobody wants to wind them up in case we don't win. You have one chance to take the piss and you're all bottling it.

Best way to get your own back is to piss into the wind. We need to make sure we are upwind before resorting to this.

They had "thankyou for the three points" banners made when we last played at the Prozac.

They were silenced by Calvin Andrew

Win the game, then give em loads

I can't believe this would be countenanced by anyone. With some of the players we have and the lack of fighting spirit all too evident in anything like a battle, this would be an bigger red rag.
There's always been a rivalry between the club's but with platforms on social media it has reached insane heights, name calling , threats etc.
Tomorrow with the massive police presence and lock down wherever you go it can't be described as a pleasant day.
I just hope they can find it in themselves and their professional pride to get a result and keep the season alive.

How do you know? If we're losing the match we don't have a chance at all.

The Spireites will be well aware that if they beat us it's season over for the Stags but a huge boost for them, and will find any attempt at piss-take in those circumstances absolutely hilarious. Those on a sticky wicket shouldn't throw stones, as Confucius say.

If we're 3-0 up with a minute of added time left, then go for it...unfortunately we know that's highly unlikely, hence the need for avoiding any extra help for the Spireites.

I'll take that, would love us to go up, but at least a year of laughing at them would be a great second prize.

Macclesfield :D

Anyway I'd sooner focus on what the sheep have to look forward to next year on a Tuesday night in December.

The result of this game doesn't stop us taking the piss, if they win they could still go down. We only have one chance because this is our last game against them this season, we don't suddenly get to play them again when they're certainly down, it's today or never. If they are relegated and we never play them again, today could be our last ever game against them and you're prepared to sit on your hands unless we're 3-0 up??

I don't believe that all of you naysayers won't be singing 'Going Down' etc., before kick off, and if we're drawing, which is exactly the same as I was suggesting. Maybe I'm wrong, but don't say one thing on the forum, then practice another at the game. This really is our one chance to take the piss and I'll not be passing it up.
