It's definitely Pearce, but for me, Macca has been excellent. He has dropped off slightly in performances recently, but has still given 100%.

Macca's form has dropped lately but he never hides and always wants the ball. This is a big plus for me.

If Krys wins it (probably rightly so) t'will be a damning inditement on the Scottish managers recruitment. For all the wads paid out a player Muzz brought in two years ago is better and more consistant.

Point is, some people were saying that Evans wouldn't pick Murray's players. And Hamilton and Rose, for instance, weren't particularly rated under Murray. Even though they weren't his buys, he brought them on and got them playing better than ever. Rose only scored 1 goal in the 15 matches previous to Evans taking over, then got 9 in the next 26.

Evans having brought in players with a superior reputation, Pearce stepped up to the mark and won his place in the side. But Evans has to be lauded for encouraging that to happen and not stubbornly ploughing on with his initial decision. It appears that Evans' transfer policy isn't that good, but clearly motivation and tactics is where he succeeds.

I wasn't at Forest Green last month but apparently Pearce had a stinker of a match there, so it's an achievement that he got back into the side again so quickly. That aside, he certainly deserves a nomination for the award.

Pearce, CJ, or Rose for me.

Pearce - man mountain.
CJ - our form improved dramatically once he was brought into the side
Rose - Goals

If Macca wins it I for one will be speechless!

Rhys Bennett.

Dont think he gets the plaudits he deserves. Dependable, adaptable, can do the ugly side and can play a bit.

Well done this season Rhys.
i would prefer not to.

I have kept a record of my ratings for all the games I have watched live and on iFollow and my top rated player came out as......David Mirfin  However I only had ratings for him for 9 games.

My top four players who have played regularly were (in order):
Krystian Pearce (a clear winner)
Rhys Bennett
Alex MacDonald
Conrad Logan

I do mark a lot more generously than Martin though

I think Rhys Bennett's contract runs out at the end of the season. We need to get him signed up. We don't want to lose him to Lincoln City.

Should Chesterfield get relegated, would it be possible to vote for Dave Allen?

To be fair,so was Diamond, especially after he was hauled off last week. I thought if White had stayed on we would have won by a greater margin. Bennett played well too.

Pearce and Bennett, both been generally excellent this season - probably Bennett for his versatility, but hard to choose. Most definitely not Logan, who has made too many errors, in fact, of Evans signings only MacDonald (occasionally) and Hemmings have impressed, a pretty poor return when you consider the wage budget given to him.

All players make mistakes. When a keeper makes a mistake it is usually a standout moment and often a goal conceded. He is the best keeper we've had since Alan Marriott. Has made some fine saves this season at crucial times, like the one from Dennis yesterday. But not only that his passion to win is there for all to see.

Pearce has been great for 95 per cent of the season but has been at fault for some key goals in my view. Similar to Logan really.

Hemmings and Rose have been great in spells but are both quilty of missing key chances.

All four are up there for me, but i’d probably give it to Rhys Bennett who is very reliable in a number of positions.

Pearce for me but with a nod to CJ who has grown enormoysly as a player this season. Could be a massive player for us next season if he stays on his current trajectory.
