Also Fatmans side lost to rochdale who are near the bottom and it looks like they'll struggle to get into playoffs hahahaha

It was great to celebrate with the players as they got on the coach and take photos. They all obliged. There were some Spireites players getting stick as they came out and it looked for a moment like Zavon Hines was about to scrap with one our fans.

Apparently Sir Jack thought it should have been 0 - 0. And "Evo" thought the same too. Well done Mal.

Just looking at what will be their big local derby next year and it looks like Halifax or Salford. I suppose they could get Alfreton in the FA Trophy

Well we did what we needed to.

Both sides were poor, though we offered more than Chesterfield. I'd suggest Chesterfield were worse than we were when we went down.

I still still think we've lots to improve on, the having 11 back in our penalty area doesn't work and I don't understand it. Unsurprisingly the long ball didn't work, and we scored from our one decent passing move, bloody great goal also. Impressed with the much improved resolve and determination of the defence

However, regardless eventually flitcroft has got the monkey off his back, and today is a golden day in our recent history. They knew they were down when the whistle went and we had that belief again. This needs to be followed up against port vale to have any chance at all.

The jury is still justifiably still out, but a big win in many different contexts is most welcome.

Not a great game but a great result and that’s all that matters.

Flitcroft has the monkey off his back so hopefully we can follow it up and start believing again.

Sheer hell trying to follow it here in Japan. I had MTFC.net text and the Twitter threads open. Blow me, the wife's BBC alert went off first for the goal. She didn't dare look.
Back by next saturday for the final run in.

Shocking. Dunno about you but I'm totally reliant on u12s to set up my phone every time I get a new one. If the shop the beardy hipster goes through all the settings and I'm nodding like Churchill while not having a scooby what he's telling me.

Ha ha ha - love the way after we score he pans to the sky. Was he looking to the heavens for inspiration or was it because he just could not bear to film us celebrating.

Even their abuse of seemed half hearted.

As this was another nail in their coffin is it rated as a ‘snuff movie’?

Yep, snap in every way. Fortunately for me I have a wife that defies her years by being completely on board with the iGeneration.

If he's very lucky they might get back in the league just in time for his balls to drop.
