Stagsnet Social Media Policy

Postby Foxy » Sun Mar 11, 2018 11:31 pm

Are players allowed to be members of this messageboard?

Do we know of any players past or present that have posted or admitted to having a butchers?

I seem to remember Paul Holland being on here a few years ago but I don't remember any others.

I would take a guess that Murray may have been on here when he was in charge

I dont know of any players being members but word on the street is Big Yella is actually Carolyns acct.

Which would explain all *his* long rambling love letters to John on Stagsnet.
Hope I'm wrong

I know Blair Sturrock posted on here under the username "Banter" to laugh at some of the lies Reg came out with after he left

no, Paul Holland the Stags manager was never on here. That was another Paul Holland, who was here, then took a leave of absence, and is now back.

Of course players can have usernames on here if they wish.

You must remember this ...

or this

which came just after this ... http://www.stagsnet.net/match/reports/v ... easonid=12

I remember Richie Sutton "wanting a word" with me on one occasion

Then there's the dads. Matt Hamshaw's dad, Alan Marriott's etc.

And players after they've left. Ollie Palmer sought me out after a game when he scored for Orient against us Brisbane Road and said “Are you going to give me a rating higher than 4 ?” :D

Plenty of other examples too.

Body likes being “judged” by their peers, let alone the paying public. Perhaps Stagsnet posters should be scored and see how we feel? :D

Martin Riley would definitely feature in a Mansfield Town Cretins XI.

Who was that poster that used to follow him about? Appeared on here in his first spell, then disappeared until his 2nd spell, then went and is now presumably is featuring on some Halifax messageboard

My cousin is a young player and I've told him to stay away from message boards. I've seen both nasty and very complimentary things said about him by people who have no idea.

He was Riley's mums partner, she also used to post on here in the prediction league.

There's been plenty of players on here over the years and there will be some on here now. Nothing as vain as a footballer ;)

I'm convinced JR and Carolyn both have accounts registered on here and nothing will persuade me otherwise.

If you know him Belly can you tell him he has not returned the SPL Cup he won and we would like it back.

Okay, I'll be honest, I'm James Alibi and I enjoyed my long and extensive Stags career so much that I just can't let go. Bit like a first love that you still stalk four years later.
