No results going for us tonight, even Swindon losing means Wycombe are winning. Oh well, 30+ minutes to go.

Wycombe, the bed wetters and Accrington all have tough run ins. All we need to do at the moment is keep pace and build that goal difference :D

Excellent all round performance. We were dominant from start to finish . Newport are no mugs but we made them look like a Sunday league team . We should of scored 8 . On another day we could of got at least 10 .
Every player put a shift in . Pleased for Potter . I said at the beginning of the season that he may not have the speed of Hamilton or the crossing ability of Anderson but he can score goals .
I thought King had a great debut .
I would of liked to see Miller given 30 minutes . The game was over .
Play like that every game then I can't see many defeats .
Coys
Oh . It's a shame about the dippers losing

Mellis was back from a hamstring injury on the bench and was considered for the starting XI but Evans felt that just a couple of training sessions was not sufficient for him. Hayden White missed out from the 18 despite being available after suspension and Paul Anderson kept his place at right back.

What the chuff does he see in Potter???..

Bloody hell it's quiet on here tonight.

How good did Penney look in the short time he came on tonight?

Going to be a star that lad.
i would prefer not to.

Odd game really, Newport were shocking and we really could have got double figures, that is no exaggeration. CJ, Potter and MacDonald completely dominated and they couldn't handle our front two. King did well and was unlucky with his 50 yarder. Back four were barely tested. Surprised not to see earlier subs when we went 5-0 up. Very poor attendance, though it was cold, we are top 6 and though only 57 from Newport I was disappointed it was below 3,000. I think with it being half term it may have been a good evening to have had some sort of kids for a quid scheme.
