'Mind The Gap' - Amber Antlers

Postby Random Hero » Mon Feb 05, 2018 12:40 pm

It's been a long time coming, but here it is... the second instalment of 'Amber Antlers', taking a look at how the gap between us and our gloating 'rivals' has decreased rapidly since the turn of the year much to their despair, and ahead to what looks like a crucial game v County on the 17th March.

All feedback welcome!

He's only playing. He loves settling down in front of the fire in the evening with a cup of Horlicks to read a spiffingly good yarn.

Good read - I wonder if the Chad ought to be doing a ‘face in the crowd’ photo shoot from the Waterfront in Notts for the fixture instead of in the ground?

Nice one Random. I would go for a result against County. Chesterfield can only survive this season. WE can gain promotion and a victory at Meadow Lane will show we are on our way of have been flattering to deceive.

Nice one random. I work with a few county fans and they are currently using their ‘FA Cup glory’ as an excuse for the league form.

I can also confirm how much it annoys them that they haven’t beaten us in ages. Personally I’d like the league position over a win at Mardy Lane but they’d be unbearable if they won.

I've a feeling it'll be a draw at t'Lane again in March.

Depends firmly on how the league looks I guess. I'd take 0-0 as it stands... February will be crucial though!

Yes, same reward.

5-5 would be more entertaining though.
