I'd love nothing more than an uneventful 3 goal (or more!) victory, but this is a Graham Westley side that we are playing, battling for their lives. I am anticipating Yeovil and Cheltenham levels of 'game management' from them.

They've also got Shaq up front, not scored since November, he's actually only scored one since we last met, where he inevitably scored. 8 goals in 26 games, he actually had a very purple patch where 7 of those 8 goals came in just 8 games, including a hat trick in a 4-1 away win at Swindon.

It'll be interesting to see how their day pans out today with regards to signings too.

I'm going for a 1-0, very nervous Stags win.

It's one of those games isn't it eh! We expect to win, as t'Bees are adrift and all at sea with the riptide of relegation tugging at their rudder. The players attitude needs to be one of proffesionalism and focus and not 'this'll be a breeze and then I can concentrate on getting my golf handicap down on Sunday morning'.

It's gonna be tough as Barnet'll park the bus I feel and try to catch us with pace on the break.
Our form's good and we should be too good for em, but we all thought that when we played t'sheep didn't we eh!

Seeing as Akinde and Shaq always seem to score against us, we're gonna need to score at least 3 again

Need a big win as goal difference could be important at the end of the season

Going to be a horrible game on the eye but Stags to wear them down late on to get the win.

It's going to be rather chilly, played on an ice rink. Scrappy 1 0 win

Wouldn't it be nice if we could use the momentum we have and have a comfy 3-0 win?

It will probably be a close game, Barnet have a decent strike force so are always going to be a threat. We will probably nick it 2-1/3-2.

If we get an early goal, I'm going for a 4-0 battering.

No early goal and owt could happen.

Graham Westley previews tomorrows game. The interview is free to watch but you do need to register. Worth a watch.

I think King will be the only new lad to start tomorrow, partnering Byrom in midfield and moving Macdonald out wide in place of Potter who had a poor first half at Morecambe. Anderson and Atkinson will both thinking they deserve the spot though after good performances, and so will Sterling James after his hat trick. Can't see today being a walk over, we rarely seem to do it easy but hopefully grind out another win by the 1 goal.

Steve Evans named the side that started the second half at Morecambe, so Anderson and Atkinson replacing Diamond and Potter from that starting XI at Morecambe. All three new signings (Ricky Miller signed on loan from Peterborough with a view to a permanent signing, Matt Penney on loan from Sheffield Wednesday, and Adam King on loan from Swansea) were on the bench. Evans said that Sterling-James would have been on the bench after his hat-trick for the reserves in midweek but he has been feeling under the weather in the last 24 hours. Also missing from the bench were Angol (slight groin strain) and Diamond (his partner is having a baby). As is often the case, Steve Evans asked me to name the side, which I did correctly. Then he asked me to name the subs but I stumbled on Sterling-James who I expected to be included.
